It's usually Luther & The Healers (http://www.lutherandthehealers.com) on Thursday nights but this last Thursday of the month has The Blues Society Jam (http://www.houstonbluessociety.org) instead of Luther. It can perhaps be a little more hit & miss but it's often still great dancing - plus you get an education about other incredible blues performers in town.

Luther (http://www.lutherandthehealers.com) is one of our very favorite local Blues/Swing dance bands and we inevitably have a great time when they're playing.

It ought to be a beautiful Texas day so come on out and enjoy!

We also often catch The Healers on Thursdays at The Big Easy (http://www.thebigeasyblues.com) as well as other places around town.

His woman has left him, he’s flat broke, and it’s almost five o’clock in the morning. Suddenly Nomax finds Big Moe, Four-Eyed Moe, Eat Moe, No Moe, and Little Moe emerging from his 1930s style radio to comfort, cajole, wheedle and jazz him with the hit songs of songwriter and saxophonist, Louis Jordan, one of the most revered talents of the 20th century.

These are the last two weekends for what should be a fun show featuring Louis Jordan's great music!
